Objectiv
We use Objectiv, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand how our website is used. Objectiv records anonymous usage events such as page views, clicks, and scroll depth. These events are linked only to a random session identifier that lives in your browser tab and is deleted when you close it. It uses no cookies and no persistent identifiers, so it cannot recognise you across visits or track you across other websites.
Cookies
This website has no cookie banner, because nothing we store needs your permission.
We set a single cookie, mozaik-locale, and only when you pick a language yourself. It remembers that choice for a year, so the site opens in the language you chose. A cookie that does no more than carry out something you explicitly asked for needs no consent, and this one holds nothing else about you. If you dismiss the small bar that offers the other language, we note that in your browser's local storage so it does not ask again; that note never leaves your browser.
The analytics described above sets nothing at all. Its session identifier lives in the browser tab and disappears when you close it.
We previously used Google Analytics behind a consent banner. Both have been removed, and any cookies they left on your device are cleared the next time you visit.
