The Challenge
Bizzdesign is a global leader in Enterprise Architecture software, helping complex organizations align strategy with execution. Developing a brand-new AI-powered product in this space requires more than just a generic wrapper around LLM APIs. The challenge was to build a reliable, domain-specific AI solution from scratch while simultaneously transforming the development team’s velocity. They needed to move from concept to code quickly, without getting bogged down in the unpredictability of LLM outputs.
Our Approach
We acted as a technical catalyst, embedding with the Bizzdesign team to set up the "factory floor" for high-speed AI development:
- Production-Grade Infrastructure: We bypassed the "POC trap" by immediately setting up a scalable infrastructure. This allowed the team to move straight into building a robust product rather than wasting cycles on throwaway prototypes.
- Automated Evaluation Framework: In a complex domain like Enterprise Architecture, "vibe checking" an AI answer isn't enough. We implemented a rigorous evaluation framework that automatically tests the AI's reasoning and accuracy against complex business logic. This gave the team a quantifiable metric for "quality" that they could track daily.
- Fast-Paced Engineering Mode: We helped shift the team’s rhythm. By removing the fear of breaking things (thanks to the eval framework) and providing clear architectural patterns, we unlocked a high-velocity iteration cycle. The team could test, fail, fix, and deploy new prompts and models in hours, not weeks.
The Results
Bizzdesign was able to jumpstart their new AI product initiative with a maturity level that usually takes months to build:
